As a sufferer from anxiety the thoughts of going into the big local hospital for anything at all I found very daunting, even just visiting people. When an operation was needed I was so happy to find that I was allowed to go into Elland for my operation. The staff realised my anxiety and made me feel like part of a family, nothing was too much trouble to make me feel comfortable and stress free. Everything is explained and happens on time which helps a lot. My surgery was carried out by a top class surgeon and after care was second to none, so nice to recover in your own spotlessly clean room with all the facilities looked after by caring, efficient staff that have the time to look after you as though you are the only one there. I cannot thank the staff enough at Elland for looking after me the way they did.
