"Having an angiogram done"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was concerned and worried that I might have a reaction whilst this was being done. I thought it could lead to complications.

I needn't have worried. There was some discomfort whilst the catheter was being inserted but nothing really to cause pain. Some flutterings as the dye was being injected but again nothing to worry about. The whole atmosphere in the lab was excellent and I received feedback almost immediately which put my mind at rest.

Many thanks to the staff at East Surrey Hospital.
