Anything else?
I was booked in for elective surgery, arrived at ward 5 at 7:30am, I was second on the list. The anesthetist came down and explained if an icu bed was not available my op would ave to be cancelled because I had recently been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnoea and am still getting used to the machine. They sorted it, the surgeon was really nice and explained everything. 2 nurses came down and sat with me before I went in for surgery, I laid down, next thing I knew I was waking up. I was taken up to icu and the care I got was amazing. I can't fault care from beginning to end. The NHS is amazing and iam very grateful for it. Si
