"Staff were very friendly and some ..."

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

(as the patient),

What I liked

Staff were very friendly and some were prepared to spend time explaining what they felt was wrong with my foot.

What could be improved

There seemed no overall perspective on my treatment or joined-up-ness between the GP's surgery, KCH, and St George's hospital, or between different departments at KCH.

Staff NEVER used my title (Dr) although it's my preferred mode of address. Seems to show a lack of respect and care for the patient as an individual.

I was only told that I would have a general anaesthetic when I attended for my injection. That should have been discussed with me well beforehand.
