"Emergency Dental Care"

About: NHS Southern Derbyshire CCG

(as a relative),

We rang 01332 888085 SEVENTEEN times on Sunday 2nd June and could not get past the automated voice which informed us we were in a queue and then cut us off. A member of staff came out and informed us it was not a walk in clinic (why is that? ) and we explained we had rung 111 on Saturday 1st June and had sat in the Coleman Street clinic ringing 17 times by 08: 41 am and still had not managed to get through.

The whole system is designed to prevent people accessing the service and this is just not acceptable.
