"dislocated shoulder"

About: Bristol Royal Infirmary

Anything else?

went in A&E fri afternoon with a dislocated shoulder,in a lot of pain and very upset. I felt i was treated very well and with human kindness throughout this whole experience. Lady at admissions desk was very kind and came out to check if i was ok when i started crying. nurse practitioner who I saw first (a man, can't remember his name) was very gentle and sympathetic when examining my arm - he also offered pain relief straight away as he could see i was in agony. Xray dept staff were great too,he was really gentle when moving me to take the xrays and we had a bit of a chat too. the other nurses at A&E and the doctor who set my shoulder were all absolutely lovely too, including a male nurse who managed to get a follow up appt for me for the very next day as I was going on holiday next week! really could not thank the staff enough, they made a horrible painful experience less so. Please pass on my comments if possible, I wish every hospital had staff like this :)
