Anything else?
Am writing this for my mother... first she went to ITC. Care was great, staff were great in keeping her and us informed all way through. They were kind, professional and caring. The teamwork was excellent. She went to SHDU, again care was good during day, but at night less so.... Mum asked for a glass of water frequently through night but had to wait ages. On E3, they were patient with Mum, even though she gave them a hard time.! (maybe that is why!) Some nurses / HCWs were good, depending on the individual shifts. Some had good teamwork, others less so. There was a patient opposite Mum who had to wait for a scan for three days. I was pleased to see that the overall care and procedures have improved since a few years ago when there was not enough staff and patients were waiting for care or support for a long time. It was good to see many health professionals from the military services working in QAH as they bring different aspects and views.
