"I am worse than I was before"

I have been suffering with neck and upper back pain since a RTA in 2011. Despite numerous requests for an MRI to my upper back, made to my GP, I was refused, time and time again.
Physio was attempted and this caused me to collapse. This caused me more problems and left me with pain all down my back. My OHSA Doctor saw the decline in my health and recommended a referral to a neurosurgeon. Great I thought.
I arrive at the hospital, speak of my problems; I have an MRI to the whole spine and brain. I arrive back at the hospital. They refuse to tell me my result, allow me to leave the hospital in a very poor condition. I am in pain all the time and I use a walking stick to aid my mobility. I am questioned, I have my integrity undermined by the doctors.
I leave the hospital in pain and confused. I can see from the images that I have two discs compressing my spinal cord; yet no-one will tell me what discs, or the rest of my result.
I am about to lose my job and no-one can be bothered to help me or tell me why?
I have raised a number of complaints. I receive a letter that states that I will receive a full response by the 7th May 2013 from the Chief Executive. Today, is the 27th May 2013 and still no result or response. Something that I find unacceptable. I have an advocate who is helping me with the complaint and for the past fortnight she has been chasing the complaint. Guess what? No-one has bothered to call her back with an update, or let her know when I will receive a response. I have e-mailed the complaints team again, and still I have heard nothing.
I have been left in pain, struggling from one day to the next. The report that followed was totally incorrect and the only accurate information was my name and date of birth. Beyond that the hospital have created a new case history, detailing treatment that has never taken place and outcomes which puts my personal health and safety at risk.
What has become of the NHS, is this the way people are supposed to be treated? I have been left a wreck by numerous mistakes by the NHS, including the hospital mentioned above. One error has led to a number of errors and it safe to say that I am in a worse condition then before I sought treatment from the NHS. I just wish I was rich and could afford private treatment.
I did shell out once for a private appointment, what a difference! Yet I provide two reports from a consultant at Cromwell Street and the NHS just ignores and carries on, stating we know better!
Well that is not the case. The NHS has left me in pain, confused and in a worse position than before. No-one is willing to say sorry and put things right. It just seems like they want to stick their fingers in their ears and hope I go away. Well I am not, and why should I? Why should I lose my job because of NHS errors? Why should I be refused my result? Why should I be refused the relevant treatment and support? Why should I accept slanderous remarks about me and incorrect medical reports?
I should not and neither should you. I chose the above hospital, as it had rave reviews and at first I felt safe. I now no longer trust this hospital to care for me, as I feel a cover-up will just occur.
My advice, choose a hospital that shows compassion to their patients, one that is willing to help young people of today.
