Anything else?
About a year ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the age of 60, this was devastating news not just for me but all of our family. After a number of trips to hospital and a lot of soul serching I decided to have a radical prostatectomy, My consultant and their team were absolutely brilliant, to be patient and understanding when you are trying to fit two days work into one didn't seem to distract them from their caring attitude and proffesionalism on any of the occasions that I visited either on appointment or called by telephone. Before and after the operation if ever I had an anxious moment and wanted to speak to one of the team or drectly to the secretary I was soon but at ease and kept well informed, rest assured someone would call me back if for any reason I couldn't get through. Its now 6 months since my op, my PSA is zero, I'm back at work and cannot thank them enough. Keep up the good work in the urology dept., my family and I have now got our lives back.
