"Emergency taken in"

About: Pilgrim Hospital

Anything else?

To all that read this I can only say its the full truth although nurses Drs will know more aboutme as I was somewhat out of it, but this was due to me being taken in for so many areas of my body closing down and becoming extremley ill. My wife 1bless her was at one1 stage told in the best way they could that 1may not pull through because there were severe problems within the body. Yes I hated it because I was out of control, I really didnt know the date time or even really where I was. The AE and various other units that never stopped working on me including the Ambulance people sent to my house I again cannot thank them enough, this again I do through my wife too as most of the time I was just out of it with too numerous serious problems to list. As the week went on the staff I grew to know more of told me how bad I really was . I recently only just lost my mother of 90, my thoughts emotions and anxiety were still a little out of my control but the staff Drs House keepers were great in every respect I cannot fault any of these people they were terrible hours but the work they do I just couldnt do it. Not once did they say no to anything and I know by far I was out of sorts but I couldnt help it.

Thank you all at Boston for all your skills may god bless you and I promise to do what where I can, so look out the Trust Board as I know you can do a lot more to help.

Thank you for telling us your story - it was very powerful to read and I cannot even begin to imagine how terrifying it must have been for you and your wife when you were so ill. I am so pleased that you have done so well and I hope that you are now fully recovered. I have passed your story onto the teams - thank you again and take care.
