"Using 111 service for the first time"

About: Harmoni / NHS 111 London Ambulance Service NHS Trust

(as a relative),

My husband passed out and fell at home, when he came round his breathing was laboured. I phoned 111 for advice and spoke to a nurse who listened, was reassuring, helped me focus and not panic & helped make the decision as to the best place to go for treatment. In this instance an ambulance was called by 111 staff.

Unfortunately communication broke down between 111 service & the ambulance service. The ambulance crew were given the wrong house number (luckily only next door) and the wrong name. They thought I was a nosy neighbour when I came out to meet them!

Ambulance care excellent.

Thank you for posting your experience. I hope that your husband is now feeling better.

I would like to investigate further the nature of the communication breakdown. I would therefore be really grateful if you would provide details of your husbands name and date of contact with the service to the email address, harmoni111.feedback@nhs.net so that we can investigate further. Many thanks.
