Anything else?
Today I had to accompany my friend as she took her 6 week old baby into the out of hours service. The baby was suffering from a rash and high temp and we were all worried. The nurse practioner who saw us was extremely helpfull, explained everything and put our mind at rest as she told us why babies suffer things and that we should never be worried about bringing her in if there was anything we were worried about.
I should explain that my friend (mother of the child) is visually impared and can't see or evaluate things as most of us can. The nurse we saw (I wish I could remember her name, she was really, really good) wasn't patronising at all and explained everything to my friend and made her feel at ease.
Thankfully Isabelle is fine, still a bit grumpy but we know not to worry! I would like to say a massive thank you to the nurse practioner and all the staff we saw today, you made a whole family very happy.
Keep up the good work xxxxx
