"Complete waste of tax payers money"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I had a phone call to arrange an appointment.

By the time the girl got into the system the date and time had gone, now I am left waiting for another appointment to be made.

I bet if this was for you, you would still not be waiting. Your system needs sorting, it is a complete waste of the tax payers money! Not impressed.

Thank you for providing feedback to the TRAQS team. I am disappointed to read your negative comments. TRAQS uses a 'live' booking system called Choose and Book which is used Nationally. It is not soley accessed within the Telford area but by NHS staff throughout England. I am sure you can appreciate that if the hospitals do not release appointments to the system then TRAQS have limited appointments to offer. I can assure you that the TRAQS team are as frustrated as the patients we speak to by the lack of availabilty of appointments.

As the booking system is a a national infrastructure I am sure you will appreciate that at times it requires urgent unplanned maintenance beyond TRAQS control.

However, thank you for your comments, the TRAQS team appreciates all constructive feedback.
