Anything else?
It took me over three hours to be fully processed at the A&E here but that had everything to do with the volume of patients arriving and nothing to do with the organisation of the place and the work-rate of staff, which was amazing.
They put me in front of a triage nurse immediately on getting there and then passed me quickly on for simple nurse-led tests to rule out anything serious that might need rapid attention. After that there was a longer wait for a doctor to double check everything, confirm what others thought and explain fully what the issue was.
This is an excellent example of a A&E unit working very well despite massive demand. Wish it had been faster but this could in no way be blamed on hospital or staff.
"Amazing A&E running full throttle"
