"Not what we expected in the year 2013"

After three months of chasing and being given incorrect advice and promises the 3 page report into my father's care in the geriatric dept. of this hospital has finally arrived.
We have finally received apologies for most of our complaints (although a number of issues raised have not been addressed) including not even being advised he was being discharged and then finding he had been discharged to the wrong address just days before he died. This caused my Mother considerable distress.
As the last review was rejected all we would say is that we experienced all the problems other people have spoken about before in addition the above.
Two members of the family have been/are senior members of nursing departments/management in the NHS for a total of over 80+ years ~ they have been very concerned by what they have experienced.
We are now referring this whole matter to the Health Ombudsman for his comments.
