"A Big Thankyou to the staff in A & E and Ambulance..."

About: Colchester General Hospital

Anything else?

I would like to say thankyou to the staff in A & E trauma who looked after my daughter and the lovely ambulance crew on the 26th March. My daughter had fallen down the stairs and from calling 999 it only took 3min for the ambulance to arrive, they were great with her as she has disabilitys and they made her feel at ease.

From the moment we arrived at the trauma unit everyone explained everything and made myself and my daughter feel at ease. The Doctor that looked after her was amazing and i am sorry that i did not remember your name to say a big thankyou.

She was taken to x-ray and given the all clear, it was luck that she has hypermobility which was what stopped her from braking her bones.

You do not get enough thankyou's, keep up the good work.

Many thanks for your comments and taking the time to submit them. We try really hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive.

We have a quarterly At Our Best Awards scheme which recognises staff achievements and thanks them for what they do. It has a team category, an individual and a volunteer category.
