I was referred to this department by my optician, attended today, had a bit of waiting around , however it was clear on my appointment confirmation to expect to be at the clinic for up to three hours.

The waiting area could have been a little more comfortable, but it was fine.

The receptionist was warm freindly and efficient, the staff nurse that I seen was equally good.

The consultant was so patient, kind and thoughtful I was quite anxious but he really put me at ease , I could not have asked for more.

This department is a credit to the hospital.

Because of the nature of the tests, appoitments in ophthalmology can take longer than other areas so we're pleased to see that you wer emade awre of that in advance.
