This hospital is a joke. It looks dirty, old and it is just disgusting. The staff is unfriendly and not helpful at all Came there at 1 am to the emergency after a big dot bit me in my leg and there were also a lot other people already waiting for hours. Some were bleeding at the head ( Party area nearby) but they just had to wait in the waiting room. I was shocked as I saw how they clean there. God it's a hospital. The cleaner came dropped some water on the blood and just wiped it wit an disgusting mob. All the patients were looking at it in disgust. So in the end I waited four hours there till I saw a doctor. My leg was already totally swollen and my whole upper leg was painful. Thank god I had some frozen peas with me, cause in that 4 hours no one of the staff gave a care about me. Anyway I heard them gossip a lot...so maybe they were really busy. The doctor was equally good like the whole hospital. I had to show him my bite without a curtain or something like that hiding me ( Actaualy everyone who was passing by could see me in my underwear.. ).After seeing the bite he didn't even want to give me an injection for tetanus. I was not sure if I had one in my past and his reply was " well you are from Germany, so i assume you had one. Is an injection after 4 hours waiting to much to ask for ?After 3 times asking he finally sent a nurse to do it. Oh what a hero. The injection was painful and the nurse said " Sorry I always mess this up " Anyway she was the only friendly staff member I saw there in the whole time. I will never ever come back and I think it is one of the dirtiest hospitals I have ever been to. Don't waste your time there...it is disgusting, dirty, and the staff members are uninterested in their jobs. Do yourself a favor and never go there ! My suggestion...Homerton University Hospital.
