"Excellent service at Children's A&E - faultless"

I visited the children's A&E today with both of my children (3 & 5) who had been suffering a severe gastric bug for a couple of days. We were seen immediately in the main A&E which was moderately busy, then taken straight to the children's A&E and again seen immediately. The department was well staffed with friendly and approachable staff. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - welcoming, bright and friendly for young children with appropriate toys and entertainment in the waiting room. Facilities all clean and in good working order. Lovely knowledgeable staff who made my two poorly ones feel very comfortable. After triage there was about 25 minutes of a fluid challenge then seen by a friendly doctor took her time with us and the children and who put us very much at ease. Could not fault this department, their staff or their service. Many thanks.
