Anything else?
I had a couple of experiences at Harrogate hospital running up to a cholecystecomy. On the first instance I was seen at A&E. I was seen promptly, the staff were wonderful, very understanding and made sure I was 100% happy before leaving.
During an overnight stay I found one negative while having my details taken down by a nurse. She asked me if I was a registered organ donor, to which I relplied I was, she then asked what I would be donating, I told her I would donate everything. To this she replied "oh no, there will be nothing left of you for the Lord". I thought this was highly inappropriate in a place where you would expect to be encouraged to be an organ donor. I felt her religious opinions were not helpful or necessary.
My stay at Harrogate hospital during my Cholecystecomy was excellent. Everyone from the Surgeons, the Anaesthetist and the Nurses treated me with respect and dignity. Although the staff were very busy in the ward they did their upmost to ensure I was comfortable and pain free. Thank you.
"Very positive experience."
