"my accident"

About: Warrington Hospital

Anything else?

I hadan accident over a year go (back in the summer of 2012) and I had no idea of how badly I'd inured my left foot until I had been to the hospital with my youngest sister (who had very kindly rang and had managed to get hold of our mum for me) as a female radiographer had told me that I had broken my little toe on my left foot. I got really upset when I was being measured for my crutches and my mum had come over to me and she gave me a hug and encouraged me to use my crutches by telling me to walk over to my late Nanna and the male nurse was vey nice as he let my mum and youngest sister to calm me down and encourage me to use my crutches. The staff in the fracture clinic as well as in the x-ray department were excellent. I remember one of the nurses from the plaster clinic at the hosptial was really nice as she had very kindly lowered the height of the crutches for me as the male nurse had made them high enough for someone who's taller than me,but the nurse had made the crutches easier for me to use them.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments about your accident. I'll make sure they are passed on to the nurses, doctors and other staff. I hope the crutches weren't too difficult to use and that your toe has fully recovered now. Thanks again for letting us know about your visit to us. Chris - Warrington Hospital.
