Anything else?
I have been involved with SGH since Feb 2012, being taken ill on holiday in Whitby transfered to a surgeon in Scdunthorpe who agreed to take my case. Since that time I have been treated with respect consideration and since my health needs kept changing I was reviewed and referred to other consultants who were equally approachable and informative about my symtoms and care plan.
The drs and nurses although understafed spent time explaining your health case and the treatment plan.
I am still attending outpatu=ients have been for many health tests and every consideration has been shown to my dignity and well being.
More staff would help but govt cuts contrict this in my opinion the staff in all departments have to work too long in a very pressured and intense environment, perhaps the ministers who keep cutting the budgets should be prepared to work a shift with these fantastic dedicated group of staff they may not find they can cope with the things these professionals have to deal with as part as their everyday responsibilities.
Keep the standards high Scunthorpe you deserve the acknowledgement of being a A1 helath facility.
