"Painful"

What could be improved

Sometimes when i attend the hematology dept. for treatment i really feel like i have done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson . I am talking about the nurses inserting needles for treatment .

Sometimes when i go certain nurses are excellent and i do not feel a thing when they insert the needle , other times i go and it takes certain nurses two or three attempts to get the needle in ,

i am then left with bruising all over the place and soreness ,

I know it is not an exact science but I fail to see how some nurses do it correctly and others do not and it always seems to be the same nurses that fail and the same nurses that get it right every time .

My husband feels that some nurses just do not try hard enough and should step up their game or go for more training until they can get it right more often and i tend to agree .

i do not think it is good enough to just turn up and do a lackluster job ,i feel the staff here should always look for excellence in their performance , some are excellent in performance and attitude but some are not .
