"Out of hours dental treatment"

I contacted NHS24 earlier in November due to severe dental pain. Response from SEDS was excellent - prompt, supportive, professional.

I was advised to attend clinic at Glasgow dental hospital the next morning and this was a complete contrast.

I found the dentist unhelpful, distant and dismissive of my pain. They stated several times that I could not possibly be experiencing the pain I had from an infection after root treatment. No treatment or solutions were investigated or offered other than a third course of anti-biotics.

I found this a very negative experience and on this occasion, this individual let down the emergency dental services and NHS.
