I have just heard that my Carer Assessment Worker's role will be ending at the end of November this year. She has been my support for a while now and I honestly do not know what I would do without her.
To hear that we will be losing her at the end of November doesn't bear thinking about what am I and the others she supports going to do and manage? I hope someone realises what extra pressure that is going to put onto the people in her care.
She has been my rock and helped me through the stressful times and stopped me from going under.
Why would anyone want to take this support away from us?
It's difficult enough to cope with the problems we are going through with our children, but not having this support will make those times even harder.
My Carers' Assessment Worker is a true asset and a caring person who is amazing at her job and to think you want to end her role is beyond me.
If any of you have any heart you would fight for the care assessment worker's role. They really are needed. In my opinion, they keep families ticking over.
She has kept me going. I hope in my heart you take notice.
