"relaxed delivery"

I would like to express my thanks to the staff and doctors at the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle on the birth of my grandson in September 2007.

I was with my young daughter when she was admitted to the maternity ward at Carlisle, she was only 17 1/2 and she was given all the care anyone would have wanted. The midwives were available and nothing was too much trouble.

When she was getting near to the birth she was so relaxed, this had a lot to do with her midwife. The midwife explained to her and throughout the delivery she was given care and encouragement and treated with respect.

With the care and guidance given to her, her son was born after just 4 hrs labour. With the relaxed way he was born, her son is a happy relaxed little soul who has brought so much joy and happiness. I would like to take this opportunity to say Thank you to the staff in the maternity unit and also the hospital as a whole.
