"Chlamydia screening service is a blessing"

About: Kirklees Sexual Health / Kirklees Sexual Health Outreach

(as the patient),

I think the service was a blessing, as I had an infection and didn't think I did, and you two blessed me Lorraine & Dawn, the first time.

I had to be retreated for the 2nd time which was a godsend ; ) nice!

Happy days.

Thanks for this posting which was passed on to Liz Clough, Team Leader for the service. She would like to issue the following response;

"Hi Angry kid

Thank you for leaving this feedback. I’m pleased you think the service works for you. It’s a good idea for young people to consider getting checked because- like you say you usually don’t know if you have chlamydia. In order for the treatment to work, it is really important that the instructions are followed, however sometimes things happen that mean this isn't always possible. That's when, like you, people should come back and see us again. I'm really pleased you felt able to come back so we could help you again. Remember it’s also important to get checked if there has been further risk.

I've told Lorraine and Dawn about your feedback- and you’re welcome to access us at the drop in again. Thanks Liz"
