"Very upsetting, no confidence at all in the nurses..."

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

What I liked

Unfortunatily this is our General hospital and for the past 4 years I have had to go to the hospital with my son, on the first two visits was sent home then ended up in GOSH for 6weeks, after that would not leave him alone at the hospital, as they had none of his medication on ward and was left to suffer for 3 hours until pharmacy opened at 8am.

Since then had to go to A&E four times and each time a bundle of errors. The last time the doctor said to my son do you have learning difficulties my son had a canular in his right hand which was sore, he is left side hemi and he was unable to fill a form in, so he turned to me to do it for, plus he was in a lot of pain as well. They staved him for an operation, when we asked what time the operation was going to be they took us to the surgical ward, and they said they knew nothing about our son, and they did not have a bed for him, so no communication. Swabs was taken and now they have gone missing. Just a hospital no communication and full of errors and oh watch out for the blood on the floor. Never seems to be moped up. I could go on and on but think you may have the picture.

What could be improved

Better communication, listen, learn better bedside manners,. Try and keep the same staff having agency staff they don't care.
