What I liked

Efficient very thorough nursing and treatment. All staff on wards and day hospital from senior nurses to ancilliary staff are very efficient. Doctors are excellent, but sometimes information doesn't filter down to patients very quickly or fully, especially over week-ends.

What could be improved

Car parking facilities. Something seriously needs to be improved with car parking areas which are totally inadequate for the general hospital, visiting etc. I have sometimes almost cried with frustration and not being able to get into the hospital grounds because the queues for the car park are solidly jammed back to the road, which means that even on a visit to the day hospital where I can use the Haematology/Oncology car park, it delays arrival by up to half an hour as you simply cannot get past the logjam of cars trying to enter the main car park. When visiting very sick next of kin on the wards these delays in finding a car parking space are so frustrating in addition to all the other problems associated with having a very sick relative.
