What I liked

I recently gave birth to my second child. My first experience of maternity services at a different hospital left me feeling uncared for and as a result of this, post natal depression. My most recent experience in Darlington has restored my faith in the nhs.

All the staff I came in contact with we're interested in their role, were very empathetic and caring. The staff: surgical through to nursing staff ensured I was kept in formed of everything and explained things fully.

This was a vastly different experience from my first child and I can't recommend the maternity services enough.

What could be improved

The lifts!
