I was recently admitted to the Medical Assessment Unit of the Northern General Hospital after having a one-off unexplained seizure. I felt I should have had some tests or some information about possible reasons as to why I had a fit and whether it would be likely to happen again. This, however, did not occur. Nobody explained to me exactly what had happened.
