"Concerns over my medical notes"

About: George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services / Maternity

(as the patient),

I was in receipt of my medical records from my recent treatment from George Eliot Hospital.

It deeply concerns me that my patient notes neglect to even mention a doctor trying to extract my blood several times at 1:30am.

There is no important documentation regarding any medical treatment or my physical/mental health between the hours of 11pm to 8 am the next day.

Following those times, the documents stated I was well, even though I had rang my call bell because I didn't feel well and I was very frightened and crying because I was worried for my baby and worried my bloods were yet to be taken. I felt awful.

My notes say I ate well at breakfast, I did not for the upset I was in. I did not want to take breakfast in the dining room to be around mummies and babies when I knew something was wrong with my child.

It makes me feel frightened that I have no documentation with regards to the male doctor laying his hands upon my person, or most importantly documenting he was unable to bleed me. My fluid intake chart and IV documentation are rushed and half filled in. I am disgusted.
