What I liked

The reception staff and nurses were lovely and made me feel extremely welcome. The appointment was quick and efficient.

What could be improved

I visited about a water infection. Once I was shown through to the doctors room, the doctor was extremely rude, unsympathetic and ignorant.

I explained that this was an occurring problem and asked for his advise, not once did the doctor look and me and instead ordered me to follow his instruction to do a sample for the nurse. Not once was he polite or understanding, instead he made me feel very uncomfortable.

For a woman to visit a man for anything, especially a water infection, I would expect a little more dignity and for them to make you feel comfortable, instead I left with feelings of anger and upset.

When I expressed my feelings to the nurses they apologised on his behalf and understood my feelings. This was cenrtainly I felt something these nurses were used to also feeling from the doctors attitude.

The service and staff at the walk in centre were unbelievably helpful and caring until I met the doctor and I feel this left the whole department down. I would never return to fleet wood now due to this.

Anything else?

To do a review on this doctor in particular I think would be a huge benefit for fleet wood. I would

be completely shocked if I was the only person to feel that this doctor was intimidating and rude.
