What I liked
The friendless of the cleaning staff and the lady who brought the meals and the other patients they where the most pleasant and made my stay at the Women s hospital a bearable experience.
What could be improved
Staff on ward attending to the patients more often sitting at the nurses station gossiping and talking about there love life and family .More so with night staff who you hardly seen.I would not after my experience of the Women s Hospital Gynae wards support that nurses are over worked
as they had enough time to sit for hours talking in groups.
Anything else?
Felt like my treatment experience was to just get it done and get a discharged felt as if on a conveyor belt. .No after care or advice given as i had a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy and discharged after 3 days ..No patient care or consideration i had my allotted time in hospital you have to go bye.For at least three to four weeks i suffered with infections severe trapped wind from the anesthetic and nausea that at the time i did not know what i was experiencing and had no information or advice to inform me this is what i could experience. No information given that would have informed me over the coming weeks what i will experience in the form of a booklet or advice line i could contact .I had to find out a lot myself from the intranet.
"Standard of care from most of the nursing staff on..."
