What I liked

I have been in to this hospital just a few times, unwittingly I hasten to add, as no person actually wants to be in hospital of course.

However I was taken in by ambulance with suspected kidney stones and was treated superbly. I was kept in for observation and everything was brilliant including the food.

Since then I have had to visit with follow up appointments and one more time I had treatment and it was execellent. Both my uncle and Father passed away there on seperate occasions and all the nurses were caring and sympathetic. My Mother was treated there too and was there quite a while. Nobody could be accused of anything other than wonderful professionalism.

Would not hesitate to put peoples mind at rest about either visiting, being a day patient or being kept in.

We strive to make coming into hospital as pleasant as possible at what can be a very difficult time for patients and their families. We work closely with the ambulance service to ensure that treatment and care is kept to the highest possible standard.
