What I liked

I had to visit A&E twice within the last few days. The first time I was taken in by paramedics and was attended to very quickly, the second time two days later I self presented to a VERY busy Minors and had an expected long wait.

Throughout BOTH experiences I was treated with great courtesy by friendly albeit very busy staff and cannot thank them enough for the caring nature they showed to me during my visit.

What could be improved

The rather hard chairs in Minors waiting area. Comfortable at first but after spending several hours sitting in them I found them rather 'numbing' on the posterior :)

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on ourNHS Choices website. I am delighted to learn your two experiences when visiting our A&E department were very positive. I can understand your comments with regard to the seats in the department, more so when one has sit for prolonged periods of time.
