What I liked
I was rushed into hospital one evening as i could not p.u and as soon as i got to a&e i saw a doctor straight away after he examined me i went for a catheter and put the catheter in,as soon as the catheter was inserted i felt great, the doctor said to me look at this as i looked at the bag he said that's how much was in your bladder the bag was full and he emptied it but i kept filling the bag eventually everything slowed down i was then given some pain relief and anti sickness i before i knew it i was on my way to the surgical unit i was only in a & e 45 mins i started shaking in front of one of the nurses and she was very concerned to what suddenly caused it after 2 days i was transferred to ward 15 as that was the only ward with a bed available for me.while on ward 15 both the day and night staff treated me well and showed a lot of concern when i was in so much pain and being sick
What could be improved
nothing much really
Anything else?
when i was in so much pain and kept being sick both the day and night staff would ask me if i would like to have a pain relief injection and also would i like to have some anti sickness put through my i.v cannula, and one of the staff nurses got the doctor to put me on i.v drips while i was being sick this was happening during both day and night.
"I would enjoy to be put on ward 15 again as i was..."
