What I liked
I waited 4hours with a suspected broken bone and still was not seen by a Dr. I asked at Reception how long I would need to wait and the member of staff was extremely rude, telling me she still hadn't had a break and I would just have to wait however long it took. In the end I left this hospital and went to urgent care in Accrington, which was much better. I was xrayed and my ankle is broken in 3 places - I cannot believe how awful the service was in Blackburn and as a result I was left in agony and treated disrespectfully by staff there. Given this is an A&E dept it's unlikely you are in a position to choose whether you use this hospital but if you can avoid at all costs!
What could be improved
The whole experience was awful, staff are clearly unable to ope with pressure and are rude. In addition more Drs needed at busy times.
"Awful!"
