"treated and discharded efficantly but little..."

About: Russells Hall Hospital

What I liked

although the waiting time in A & E department was 4 hours wasnt ideal when in a lot of pain, the overall service was efficant and to a high standard. only down fall was i was expected to make my own way to and from the x ray department situated some fair distance away from the A & E department.

What could be improved

a more person centred approuch by staff it felt like you was a heard of animals being shoved from one place to another

Anything else?

it would be helpfull if the pre assessment was availible all the time in A & E i feel this would cut the waiting time substantually and the out of hours surgary at holly hall was open later esspessally at weekends when A & E is esspessally busy
