"Brilliant service from Bournemouth Eye Hospital"

Went to the local pharmacist as my 5 year old daughter had what looked to be a stye for over 3 days and on picking her up from school on day 3, it looked more inflammed than ever. Pharmacist advised to see the GP but as usual was unable to get an appointment. Next day at school the school secretary mentioned contacting Bournemouth Eye Unit as she had found them to be very useful; and she is certainly correct with that!

Phoned them, direct local number answered very promptly. Efficient receptionist went through the initial consultation very quickly and said a nurse would call me back as she had a few calls to make. I thought i'd have to wait a couple of hours but no, call returned within 10 minutes.

The nurse was so clear with her diagnosis, reassuring and advised me over the phone on how to treat my daughter.

All told, everything sorted in about 20 minutes! What a brilliant service. Well done NHS Bournemouth Eye Unit. More people should follow your pattern. Thank you.
