"The staff should listern to the poeple and treat..."

About: St James's University Hospital

What I liked

My daughter went to a&e on friday 4/5/12 very worried she is 11 weeks pregnent and had started bleeding but the staff didnt put her mind at rest at all.She was not sent for a scan to see if everything was alright. She was told she could come back on tuesday or she could pay for a scan .She went to the one were she paid because she could go on the saturday. I think this was discusting she should have had a scan when she was at the hospital which would have put her mind at rest sooner .This is not the first time I have had to complain about the way you deal with people who need scans in an a emergency . I was told then that things would change but that does not seem to have happen.

What could be improved

I have said when people come in to a&e and they need a scan to check that everything is alright and to put minds at rest they should be given one not told to come back three days later.

Anything else?

I wish an answer to my complaint please
