What I liked
This is a friendly, welcoming ward and MLU staffed by some super midwives. All of the ones I saw throughout my pregnancy were very experienced which inspired confidence and trust. The admin and support staff are also approachable and helpful when arranging appointments etc. Although my baby was delivered at Broomfield I returned to St Peters afterwards rather than remain on the extremely busy maternity ward at Broomfield, and the calm and relaxed environment was perfect for a tired mum to rest!
"A really positive experience of maternity care"
