I was due to have a knee replacement on Nov 4 2011 but they found a heart problem witch was diagnosed has a blocked artery and a stent was inserted.so the knee op was postponed and i fully accepted that .Cut a long story short when i returned to the knee clinic and saw consultant i had to go back and see my own GP for a letter of referal for letter for op witch i do not understand as i did not need one in november and now i am in limbo because i cannot plan my year until i get a date for my op please can you shed some light on this Yours Truly malcolm panter
