"kindness and consideration"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Urology New Victoria Hospital / X-rays and scans

(as the patient),

I don't do hospitals, I have had bad experiences with them before. So when my doctor told me I needed to see doctor at the New Victoria I was really worried.

When I arrived at the hospital I was really worked up but the nurse came over to me and she couldn't have been nicer. She told me that everything would be OK and the Doctor would help me. The doctor was also brilliant.

The X-ray really upset me but not because of the staff. I struggle to get into the positions for it. Afterwards a member of staff checked that I was OK and another said she could see I was upset and offered to take me for a cup of tea and and biscuit. I said no but it was so kind of her to offer.

I experienced nothing but kindness and consideration during my visit. I also went to the hospital again yesterday. the staff knew I was worried and when I arrived they took me straight through so I didn't have to wait.

I still have to go back again but this time I will not be so worried. I just want to say thanks a million to the staff there for putting me at ease.
