I was transferred from Lincoln County Hospital to the NHS treatment centre at Barlborough - a round trip of 110 miles but well worth the trouble. I first had an appointment for a MRI scan and then about three weeks later my preassessment which was carried out with the utmost efficeincy by all members of staff and then on November 17th I had day surgery ( carried out by Mr Abhinay Kamat) and again I cannot fault the treatment in any way. I attended my follow up appointment yesterday and was again treated with the same care and courtesy I have met with on all the occassions I have attended Barlborough. The operation was a success and I feel I have a new lease of life.
