A few months ago I was getting occasional chest pain and I was referred to hospital for an angiogram. Blood test were taken - these showed my blood count was low and I was prescribed tablets. I was also given an appointment to see a consultant to find out why I was anaemic. I was asked to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy - or as I put it a 'camera up and down'!
Thankfully there was no cause for concern just a further course of ferrous sulphate.
Along the way I was advised to lose some weight and along with the help of the doctor and diet nurse I have lost almost 2 stone. So it is thanks all round for the care and attention and advice I have received.
