What I liked
My feedback applies to all of the Doctors, Nurses and support staff of Maple Ward St Peter's Hospital. The care and attentional afforded to my brother when he was admitted to St Peter's was of an exceedingly high standard - the service was to all intents and purposes faultless. This was not limited to just doing a satisfactory job, but was delivered with genuine care and consideration. Even when it became clear that their was little more that could be done for my brother, other than to offer palliative care, the level of care and support never dropped. All members of the family were treated with the utmost respect and consideration. Consultation was regular and informative. This whole experience is a credit to the NHS and its staff, and we feel that it is vitally important that the people concerned receive credit where credit is due.
It is impossible to overstate how much this helped me, and in particular my brother's wife and children. To know that my brother was receiving such high levels of care made what was a very difficult situation that much more bearable
On behalf of myself, family and friends I would like to thank the entire team of Maple ward
What could be improved
Nothing!
Anything else?
Everything that I seem to see, hear or read about the NHS is negative. This experience proves that the NHS can and I am sure regularly does deliver outstanding service. And this should receive the credit it deserves
"Outstanding!"
