I recently referred myself to nottingham city due to the poor care i felt i was recieveing at my local hospital. I wouldnt change a thing about the care i recieved at City campus, from the moment i arrived i was treated with lots of respect :) I did have to wait 15 minutes longer than my arranged appointment, but this didnt bother me as i later found out the reason for the delays is because the consultant sits there and listens to anything you have to say and they treat everyone as an individual, the consultant was fab and arranged tests for me for the same day! the nurses were also great, they all treated me as an individual and with lots of respect and dignity. at first i hated the thought of being examined down below by a Male, but i felt comfortable straight away as a female nurse was brought into the examination room. I've got to go back for further tests before we can discuss more treatment but this is not bothering me as i know they are doing everthing possible to find the cause of my problems..
could anything be changed?
