"Very well run except for the tv/phone."

What I liked

I found my stay very comfortable under the circumstances, was in for a week, staff were brilliant especially the night staff, as I had difficulty sleeping and were very helpful in supplying me with coffee, to get me through the night. I was pleasantly suprised at the quality of the meals, expected it to be lukewarm as on my stays at other hospitals but found this was not the case here. Only problem was the cost of the use of the tv/phone system, even when my husband phoned me and had to go through all the recorded stuff before we were connected it cost about £2! next time I will do the same as other patients on my ward and take in my mobile phone. would be a lot cheaper. as I was unable to sleep due to pain (even with pain medication) I was watching the TV (Athletics) during the night so as not to disturb other patients by having the light on to read.
