What I liked
Wonderful midwives and consultants, really put me as a first time mum at my ease, particularly as my baby had to be born early by c-section due to problems in the womb that they picked up on at a late scan. The anaesthetists in particular were amazing, very calm & professional & reassuring. I also had a wonderful student midwife who had the time to sit down before the op & explain what was going to happen, which was good. Post natal care was great, clean wards, lots of help with feeding too.
What could be improved
The only criticism would be the length of time you have to wait at the antenatal clinics, never less than 3 hours at each appointment I attended, but I guess with the amount of women they had to see, it was only to be expected. The receptionists always explained they were running late, so as long as you take something to read & are prepared for a wait, it's not so bad.
"Wonderful experience, will definitely go back for..."
